Aims and Objectives of the course

Will It Work When We Need It? is an unique one-day course designed to equip those responsible for overseeing Business Continuity Management (BCM) in the City with the skills to determine the appropriateness of their organisation’s approach to this complex subject. It will provide an in-depth understanding of the process necessary to achieve success and examine both industry best practice and common mistakes.

Who should attend?

The course is designed for Internal Auditors and those senior managers who have been charged with ensuring robust Business Continuity Plans are in place.

Will It Work When We Need It? will provide theory, open discussion, practical examples and case studies. Delegates will also be supplied with a detailed set of notes which will be a useful reference manual when reviewing Business Continuity. The course will cover the following:

  • 20 common mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Reviewing Business Continuity Plans
  • Auditing a Disaster Recovery supplier
